Christopher Chance Screenplays Part 4

In this recording Christopher and I discuss his book and screenplay BENEATH THE POPPY FIELDS, which is listed on Inktip where film makers and production companies can view it.

It is quite poignant to talk about this story, particularly at this time of the year because of its content. The anniversary of the date of publication of the book is Armistice Day, a most suitable date to remember the men who sacrificed all for our freedom today and who went through what you can only be described as hell.

11th November is one of the biggest days of the year for Christopher, who believes they all deserved all the medals in the world for what they did.

The lifespans of soldiers were limited in that particular war and not many came home. The impact on the families was quite personal. There was a whole generation of women on their own. What happened to these young ladies and what they got up to while their menfolk were away, can be found within the pages of the book.
